what is the tiny community kitchen?

The Tiny Community Kitchen is a collaborative effort in the Old North End aimed at making a licensed commercial kitchen and restaurant space accessible to small food businesses. Along with the new Maudite Poutine restaurant, there is a rotating cast of local caterers, chefs, cooks, and bakers working out of the space and holding weekly or monthly food events. Additionally, there is a fridge inside filled with an assortment of delicious, locally prepared foods.

The goals are simple - to learn, share, and create in a space where everyone may benefit from the diversity of experience, knowledge, and resources of each person involved. Most importantly, it’s about how sharing food can build community.
